I have created Gentle Sorting to help people to organise and declutter their homes. I’ve worked with a wide range of different people to help them to sort out their belongings and this often has a positive affect on their lives too. I work in a person-centered gentle way, with kindness and compassion.
I’ve worked with people to enable them to tackle some of their most difficult challenges and start to achieve their aspirations.
These have included dealing with a lifetime’s accumulation of belongings; adapting to physical health diagnosis/conditions; managing symptoms of neurodiversity, such as ADHD and Autism; and helping people following the death of or separation from a loved one.
I strive to provide a friendly, thoughtful presence, respecting people as individuals, while encouraging and trying to empower them to make changes and deal with challenges.
I’m based in Bishopston, close to central Bristol and cover most of Bristol by bicycle, which I use to do all my Gentle Sorting work on.

Resources

This page outlines a bit more about me. In summary, I set this business up after being a support worker and realising that people sometimes need some practical help to sort out and organise their stuff.

The process that I use to help people sort out their stuff is unique to each person. This page outlines what this might look like so you know what to expect.

It’s always important to be upfront about what services I can offer and how much they cost. This page details just that.
