1. You get in touch with me, Katharine, via this website, by email or phone; whatever suits you best. We can then arrange a date and time for a chat or go straight into booking a free consultation.
2. I’ll confirm the date and time of our consultation and will provide full details of Gentle Sorting’s terms and conditions, etc.
3. The free consultation will take place over the phone or in person. It should last around 45 minutes, during which time we will go through some questions to establish your needs, and to see if we feel we can work together. If we do, we’ll agree a time and date for the first visit.
4. The first visit will take place at the time and date agreed. I will have prepared for the visit based on our previous consultation. We will review progress at the end of the session to see if any follow-up is needed.
5. Follow-up actions and/or visits will be discussed as required, to best suit your needs and what you want to achieve. These will be led by you and your requirements.
Sessions can look at a single area in your home or a category of items, depending on what is most urgent for you. The process is very flexible and I have no set way of running sessions, it all depends on you and your needs at the time. I will have a range of suggestions and ideas about how we can tackle difficult areas and help you identify what’s most important, designing systems together to help to continue being on top of your belongings.
Virtual sessions are also available if you prefer.
